I believe that God wants to have a personal relationship with each and every person. He knows you, and He wants you to know Him. God comes to us in many ways: in the sacraments of the Church, in our relationships, in quiet prayer, and through scripture: the WORD. When God comes to us, He brings LIFE and LIGHT.
“In the beginning was the Word,
John 1: 1-5
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him,
and without him nothing came to be.
What came to be through him was life,
and this life was the light of the human race;
the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.”
My prayer for you, dear reader, is for you to experience the beauty of God’s life and light by encountering Him in many ways, including in His Word. Yours in Christ, ~Carey
